Challenge
Automation company SEW-EURODRIVE wanted to showcase the performance and advantages of its new Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) in a high-quality 3D product animation . The goal was to clearly illustrate the entire product lifecycle – from delivery and commissioning to daily use and integration into existing automation and software systems.
The particular challenge lay in visualizing complex technical functions such as laser navigation, sensors, power supply, and data communication in an understandable way, without sacrificing technical depth. At the same time, the animation was intended to reflect SEW-EURODRIVE's high standards of quality and innovation and position the AGV as a premium solution for modern intralogistics.
Solution
BLUE SILVER developed a high-quality 3D product animation that combines technical precision with a modern design and dynamic visual language. The focus was on a visual presentation that highlights both the functionality and the premium character of the vehicle.
A well-thought-out lighting concept with varying moods creates a diverse and engaging narrative arc. While the product is initially focused on in an atmospheric, dark intro, bright and open scenes showcase its applications within production and logistics environments.
To make complex technical processes easy to understand, we developed customized visualization effects for navigation, sensors, energy flows, and data communication. Additionally, a high-quality X-ray and glass look provides insights into the vehicle's interior and reveals technical components that would otherwise remain hidden during operation.
Dynamic camera movements, smooth transitions and unusual perspectives create a modern visual language that visually conveys innovation, precision and performance.
Result
The result is a roughly three-minute, modularly structured 3D product film that conveys the functions and advantages of the AGV in an understandable and technically precise manner.
The film is successfully used in marketing, sales, and corporate communications, including at trade fairs, customer meetings, and presentations. The high-quality visuals help SEW-EURODRIVE communicate complex product benefits quickly and convincingly.
Thanks to its modular design, the animation can also be flexibly expanded or adapted for future applications. This creates a durable communication tool that sustainably supports SEW-EURODRIVE's commitment to innovation and quality.
