Challenge
For the chemical company BASF, a complex recycling loop for refrigerators needed to be visualized clearly and understandably. This involved depicting numerous process steps and various partners. At the same time, the central themes of sustainability and the circular economy had to be communicated convincingly, with a high degree of innovation and modernity, befitting BASF's technological leadership.
Solution
To visually present the recycling process, we developed a mix of real footage, AI-animated elements, and 3D animations . Abstract and realistic 3D representations allow for both overview and depth of detail.
The individual process stages are clearly separated visually, ensuring that the journey from the old device to the recycled material remains traceable. An innovative design also guarantees high visibility.
Result
The result is a roughly two-minute animated film that premiered at the K trade fair. The film will also be used long-term on the website, on YouTube, and on LinkedIn, making an important contribution to communicating sustainability.
