Challenge
In case of fire, every second counts. Yet many people don't know which fire extinguisher is suitable for which fire class and how to use it correctly. The "Safe Home" (DSH) campaign aimed to present this important safety topic in an understandable, practical way, and accessible to a broad audience.
The challenge was to present complex fire safety information in a way that would ensure it remained easily accessible even under stressful situations. At the same time, the film needed to inform without overwhelming the viewer and achieve a lasting learning effect through clear and engaging presentation.
Solution
We developed an easy-to-understand 3D explainer video that guides viewers step-by-step through typical household fire scenarios. Together with the client, we created a storyboard that addresses real-life situations and clearly explains how to choose the right fire extinguisher.
Friendly 3D characters accompany the story and provide practical demonstrations of which fire extinguishers are suitable for different fire classes and what to look out for in an emergency. Complex information is simplified through clear visualizations, understandable animations, and strategically placed infographics.
Additional memory aids and graphic highlights support knowledge transfer and help to quickly grasp the most important information. A concluding summary provides a compact overview of the key findings.
Result
The result is a roughly two-minute 3D explainer video that conveys the topic of fire extinguishers and fire classes in a clear, engaging, and memorable way. Through a combination of emotional storytelling, clear visualizations, and didactically structured infographics, the most important information is retained long-term. The video supports the DSH campaign in raising awareness about the correct use of fire extinguishers and strengthening everyday safety consciousness.
As part of a comprehensive series of explanatory videos on accident prevention, the production is used on various information and communication channels and makes a long-term contribution to raising awareness about safety and prevention issues.
